2. Places in the BETA are limited for now. To make sure you secure your place, activate your BoxOffice Online BETA account as soon as possible. Click here to activate the BETA on your account (you will need to be signed in with your DStv Connect ID)

Get the DStv Desktop Player

1. If you haven’t already installed the DStv Player, click here to install it now
2. When the DStv Desktop Player is successfully installed on your computer, look for the icon on your desktop
3. The DStv Desktop Player is both Windows and MAC compatible

Rent and download via the DStv Desktop Player

1. Simply run the DStv Desktop Player and browse our catalogue of exciting blockbusters
2. Find the movie you’d like to rent and click RENT
3. You’ll then need to enter your credit card details in the payment screen and click PAY
4. Once your payment is authorised, your download will start immediately
5. We use PayU for all of our BoxOffice Online BETA payments. PayU provides us with a secure and easy-to-use payment solution to help make purchases online as convenient for our customers as possible
6. We will not charge your credit card until the download is complete or you have clicked the PLAY button
7. For added convenience, you can also store your credit card details with PayU to avoid having to re-enter your credit card number every time you rent a movie on BoxOffice Online BETA
8. You can rest assured knowing that your credit card details are safe and secure with PayU
9. Your BoxOffice Online BETA movie will be available for 48 hours and you can watch it as many times as you want before it expires

Rent and stream via the BoxOffice website

1. Simply point your Internet browser to boxoffice.dstv.com and log in using your DStv Connect ID
2. You can browse our selection of New Releases and Classic and watch trailers for free
3. Movies with a (PC ) or (PC/PVR) icon are available to rent and stream from the BoxOffice website and are available for both Windows and MAC
4. Find the movie you’d like to rent and click the RENT button
5. You’ll then need to enter your credit card details in the payment screen and click PAY
